At APCS, we also provide personalized maintenance notes and apps so your computer stays fast between visits.

Most standard tune-ups and straightforward repairs are completed within one to two business days. More complex issues—such as data recovery from a failing drive or significant hardware replacement—may take longer depending on parts availability and the extent of the problem. We always communicate expected timelines upfront before beginning any work.

Yes. APCS provides full repair and tune-up services for both Mac and PC systems. We diagnose and resolve hardware failures, software conflicts, operating system issues, and performance problems on both platforms. Our technicians use quality parts for all hardware repairs, whether you're running macOS or Windows.

The standard diagnosis fee is $100. In many cases, this fee covers the cost of resolving the issue entirely—particularly for software-related problems. For hardware repairs requiring parts, a separate quote will be provided after diagnosis. We always explain the issue and available solutions before proceeding with any additional work.

Yes. Data recovery is one of our core specialties. Our technician Richard has extensive experience retrieving critical files from failing, corrupted, or physically damaged drives. We work with both hard disk drives and solid-state drives for home users and businesses. We recommend attempting recovery as soon as possible to maximize the chances of a successful result.

APCS offers both on-site and in-shop repair services. For clients in the North Bay Area—spanning the Hwy. 101 corridor from Marin County through Sonoma County and up to Mendocino County—on-site visits are available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Emergency service is available on a case-by-case basis. Note that longer distances may include a travel time charge.
